Zaida - Catahoula Leopard Dog For Adoption in Levy County, Florida

Yoo-Hoo is a young catahoula leopard dog, pure bred based on our embark test. We originally found her at a shelter where she arrived extremely malnourished and stayed 2.5 months before we adopted her. We currently have 3 other dogs and two cats, and believe she may be better suited for someone who can provide her more exercise and enrichment. She is okay with both dogs and cats, but will need to be slowly introduced with any other dogs in the home. Her deafness brings some challenges, and the tends to get frightened easily. Once she trusts the other dog, she is much more relaxed. A home without young children will be best. Any people interacting with her need to know she is deaf, and know not to sneak up on her. A house with a yard and the ability to spend time with her throughout the day is needed. Her energy levels are extremely high and she is very intelligent. She is crate trained and knows some basic commands. We are working with hand signals for sit, down, wait, and come, and we have positively conditioned her with a vibration collar for recall. She is an absolutely wonderful dog. Extremely goofy and expressive, loves to play and loves attention. If you have the time, caring for her is extremely rewarding. Rehoming her is not urgent, but we know we cannot provide all of the time and enrichment she needs. We are hoping to find someone committed to providing for all of her needs. Nessie is a very affectionate, loving, cuddly puppy. She loves to run and play and be very active. She enjoys being outside and going for long walks. She is protector of little kids.

We found a puppy in the desert a few weeks ago and brought her home we got her first round of vaccines and microchipped but we can't honestly afford her and we don't want to put her in a kennel so we're trying but we have 2 other dogs and 2 cats we are barley affording food she's mixed definitely a large dog breed she's super cuddly and playful she loves shoes so beware lol we have potty trained her we're working on getting her second round of vaccines Please help us find a home for her she's really sweet and we don't want to put her in a kennel

Thor is a good boy, great with kids. Loves outside. Well trained. Crate trained. Potty trained. Loves attention but also loves to just lay for hours.
