We have another dog who he is fine with most of the time but occasionally they clash and we now have a baby in the house so feel it is best to give him a fresh start. Axel is a 3 year old purebred German Shepherd. We have had him since he was about 6-7 weeks old. He is very playful and energetic as well as super intelligent. He loves to play and run around with our other dog. He does well with other dogs but we are not sure how he does with cats strictly because he has never had any interactions with cats. He has lived with another dog for all his life. As far as children go, he does not do as well (at least with small children). He seems fine with older children but small children seem to make him very nervous/anxious and he does not tolerate them very well. His ideal home would probably be one without small children and plenty of space for him to run around.
