Hi there! I’d love to introduce you to Kanela (Nel for short), our almost 2-year-old sweetheart. She’s a gentle, shy girl who needs a little time and patience to truly shine – but once she opens up, you’ll see what a loving and playful companion she really is. She’s had the joy of growing up with three other dogs, so she does wonderfully with other pets and knows how to share her space. She’s also fully potty trained, crate trained, knows how to sit, give paw, and absolutely loves to play – once she’s comfortable, her personality really blossoms. Because she’s naturally timid, she tends to retreat or observe from a distance when she’s unsure. She’s not aggressive at all, just very sensitive to new surroundings and fast movements. For that reason, she does best in calm environments and with gentle children who understand she needs space to feel safe. Nel is truly a sweet and loving dog – the kind who just needs someone willing to let her come out of her shell on her own terms. If you’re looking for a loyal, quiet companion with a heart full of love to give, she just might be your perfect match.
