About Hickam
Hickam is a young medium/small sized basset; about 40 pounds and lean. He was sired from Buster and Sadie Mae who were both 65-70 pound Basset Hounds. He has straight-ish legs for a basset which makes him exceptionally nimble and athletic. He has a sweet temperament and loves people

Woodrow is his registered name. He's about as friendly as they come. He's on a little farm with 3 cats, 3 other dogs, and 2 kids in gradeschool. He prefers to be with at least one member of the family at all times. He loves to play, nap, chase squirrels, sniff everything, greet all guests , get belly rubs and snacks, eat, get more snacks, and then sleep on the couch. He gets excited when he knows the bus is due to bring his kids back. He has the usual basset hound stubborn streak, but, we're still learning tricks and better behavior.
