Doc!
Stud Fee: $450.00

Doc!

Border Collie

male
|6 years, 7 months
Sumner County, Tennessee, US

Doc is an outstanding dog he plays so well with my younger siblings and is having a blast with herding my grandfathers cattle and our neighbors goats and sheep. He is a really great dog he knows basic commands and honestly like his breed is know for he just wishes to please. I want to breed him to keep his bloodline going. Doc is also registered with the American Border Collie Association. Doc has basic training like sit stay etc. He also has learned the command "Up" meaning he will jump on command. His recall is one of the strongest I have ever seen. We live on some land and I’ve seen him all the way in the back and i call his name once and he is darting straight to me. I’m also is teaching him non-verbal commands. Like if you pat your hand on the floor he will lay, if you point your finger down he will sit, I thought this was super cool so just wanted to share! I also have it to where he will sit and stay where you tell him even if he can’t see you, for example i can place him at the front of the property where our house is aka blocking his view of me, and when i’m completely out of sight he still stays until he hears his name! I find it so cute because you will see his little ears peak up waiting and listening for his name to be called. I'm looking to breed him with a herding breed with any coat, I'm open to most breeds as long as they are a herding dog. His stud fee is 450-550 depending on bred and coat and can be lowered.

I trained him on an agility course the 1.5 years of his life, obviously not high jumps because he was growing, I planned to do trials and such with him but life happened and I never got back into it. Definitely something I want to do. His agility trainer said he was amazing and could do great things. He has been trained certain task to help my special needs sister. Anything that she drops he hands it back to her. Other than that I’ve just done a lot of training with him, obedience and tricks. Greatt temperament with other dogs even though he isn’t neutered. Great with kids! And He has an amazing drive he will go alllll day if I want but he also has an amazing off switch where he’s great inside on lazy days. Just all around a very well balanced dog. He’s ball driven, frisbee driven, treat driven, and just praise driven, I can train him with no reward except praise because he’s just excited to work learn and please
