Meet Hootie—a resilient little pup with quite a journey. She was rescued at just a few weeks old and rehomed not once, but twice, before being heartbreakingly dumped. Thankfully, Jacksonville Humane picked her up and reached out to me. When I got there, it was clear she wasn’t in the best shape, but I knew she deserved a second chance. I brought her home, and now Hootie is safe, loved, and finally on the road to becoming the happy, healthy puppy she was always meant to be. With time, care, and lots of love, Hootie is making progress every day—and once she reaches a comfortable and stable state, she’ll be ready to find her forever home.

Beignet is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate 3-year-old yellow lab with a playful spirit and a big heart. He loves being around people and other dogs, especially enjoying time outside and staying active. I’m looking for a loving home where he’ll have space to run, companionship (human or canine), and the attention and exercise he deserves. His happiness and well-being are my top priority.

Beignet is a sweet, loving, and energetic 3-year-old yellow Lab with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging. He thrives on daily play, outdoor adventures, and being around people who can give him the attention and activity he craves. He’s incredibly loyal, great with people, and loves to run, fetch, and splash in the water. Beignet would do best in a home with a yard or near open space where he can run freely, and with an owner who has the time and desire to include him in their daily life. I’m looking for a home where Beignet will be truly prioritized— not just loved, but given the structure, exercise, and companionship he needs to thrive. Millie is sweet and very smart. She is high energy and needs someone experienced with labs and has the time to work with her. She’s an amazing dog but with having a baby I don’t have the time she needs to work with her. She loves cuddles and would love to have another dog to bond with. She’s been an inside dog but also needs to be able to roam a bit.
