About Barry
This is my pup, Barry. He will be two years old in September. He is a great dog and super friendly with everyone and loves to play. He is pretty high energy but a good boy and LOVES cuddling, leaning on you and playing with his toys on top of you. He’s quite a character but has so much love to give. He is a great dog. On another note though, he has really bad allergies and I cannot keep up with the costs unfortunately. His allergies are not those that make him itch real bad but more so he gets yeast infections in his ears from his allergies that will make them stink really bad. I took him to the vet twice for this issue, the last time I took him I spent $240 for a months supply of allergy pills and antibiotics and treatment for his ears and bought the $70 dog food they recommended. About three weeks in to the allergy pills his ears got infected again. New owner will need to take him to the vet immediately as I do not have the funds to treat it this time. He does not bark much either.

Ritzy
Labrador Retriever
Ritzy is a sweet loveable girl. She thinks she is a lap dog and will do well with someone who has children that will play with her or adults who have time to play with her. She knows basic commands (sit, stay, wait, come, lay, bed, down, shake, kennel) she is full of energy but when told to go to her bed and lay down she easily follows. She is freighted of our cat being she is a big baby but also is protective of her people. She has had all shots up until this year she just needs yearly shots.

Hootie
Labrador Retriever
Meet Hootie—a resilient little pup with quite a journey. She was rescued at just a few weeks old and rehomed not once, but twice, before being heartbreakingly dumped. Thankfully, Jacksonville Humane picked her up and reached out to me. When I got there, it was clear she wasn’t in the best shape, but I knew she deserved a second chance. I brought her home, and now Hootie is safe, loved, and finally on the road to becoming the happy, healthy puppy she was always meant to be. With time, care, and lots of love, Hootie is making progress every day—and once she reaches a comfortable and stable state, she’ll be ready to find her forever home.

Kobi
Labrador Retriever × Goldendoodle
Kobi is sweet, he loves food , salmon in particular. He’s very energetic great dog to walk the neighborhood and get tons of steps in, he does need space to roam and run very fast. Once he knows where home is he prefers that to anything else. He loves attention but is crate trained and potty trained (he will absolutely let you know when it’s time) Blueberries are a fave snack. He so handsome and he wants to be apart of the fun. He doesn’t know many tricks but he understands commands. He does need to be trained for walks (those can get interesting he loves to sniff a lot everywhere all the time) and he does need lots of toys and stimulation cause if not your socks and toilet tissue will be everywhere. He can be very funny his head tilts are hilarious and he recently has enjoyed looking out the window. He likes the energy of young kids but unless you are experienced with dogs I wouldn’t have him around babies just yet unless introduced slowly, he mostly just barked at my baby beige cause she’s a new person in the home. It’s good to introduced him to people daily but slowly. He will attach himself to the family and think they are his, he is not aggressive in a mean way but if you are not a dog person yet or this is your first one and you don’t have time, Kobi is not a dog for you or your family (unless they have a ton of love and room to help him be the best version of himself). I love him and I really need him to go somewhere that loves taking care of animals.

Peach
Labrador Retriever
Peach is a sweet lab mix. She loves outside and sun bathing. We unfortunately aren’t able to give her the attention she deserves with our work schedule. Would love for her to be with a family who has time to love on her.
