Buddy is a loving family dog. We adopted him when he was 1 year old and he has been a wonderful part of our family since. He loves to ride in the car, take walks, and just lounge around the house outside of that. He is house broken and knows the basic commands like sit, go, paw. He is always ready for a walk or adventure and can be vocal to alert you of unknown visitors (mailman, haha) but he is very kind to those who are welcome. We are so sad to part from Buddy, but we are downsizing our home and think it’s best to try to find him an environment that is more conducive to his true happiness.

Baxter

German Shorthaired Pointer

male

Baltimore County, Maryland, US

Meet Baxter – A Sweet Soul Looking for a Calm Home Baxter is an 8-year-old sweetheart who’s ready to find his perfect match. He’s a quiet, gentle boy who loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch, enjoying a cozy movie night, and being near his people. He does best in a calm home without other dogs—he’s not dangerous but can be dog aggressive, he prefers to be the only pup. He gets along well with cats and would be happiest with a single person, a couple, or someone older who appreciates a laid-back companion. Baxter is a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s incredibly loving. He does have some anxiety during thunderstorms, but sitting with him and offering a few treats helps ease his nerves. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate dog to share your days with, Baxter might be the perfect fit.
